Therapy grounded in Authenticity, creativity, and collaboration.

I specialize in harm reduction, sex therapy, and psychotherapy for adolescents and young adults. Together, we'll develop a deeper understanding of the patterns shaping your experience within a therapeutic relationship grounded in authenticity, creativity, and collaboration.

I frequently work with people who are

  • Seeking Greater Self-Awareness And Lasting Change.

Exploring A Relationship With Substances Through A Harm Reduction Approach.

Looking For Support Around Sex, Intimacy, Or Sexual Concerns.

Living With Chronic Illness Or Chronic Pain.

    Navigating Adolescence Or Young Adulthood.

Feeling Stuck In Patterns They No Longer Want To Repeat.

As a psychotherapist, my work is centered around helping people develop a clearer understanding of themselves and their experiences.

This process is centered on increasing insight and self-awareness, in ways that are unique to each individual.

I integrate harm reduction principles with an insight-oriented approach to support greater self-awareness, particularly in the areas of chronic illness, substance use, sexuality, and other experiences that can feel difficult to navigate.

My style is authentic, creative, and collaborative. I take an eclectic approach, drawing from relational, psychodynamic, postmodern, and feminist frameworks, while also considering the impact of lived experience, social context, and both conscious and unconscious processes.

Training and Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and New York, a Certified Addictions Treatment Counselor (CATC-IV), and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. I earned my Master's degree from the Smith College School for Social Work and completed advanced training in relational psychotherapy through the Women's Therapy Centre. Over the past two decades, I've worked across community mental health, hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, and private practice with adolescents and adults.

Often sitting together and having an in person meeting is the best way to get a feel of how we will work together. I invite you to contact me and schedule an initial consultation.

Areas of Focus

Individual Psychotherapy

I work with individuals seeking greater self-awareness and a more fulfilling life. Together, we explore the patterns shaping your experience through reflection, interpretation, and problem solving, while building on your existing strengths. I remain attentive to the ways identity and lived experience influence our work.

Adolescent Psychotherapy

Working with adolescents and young adults requires a thoughtful and flexible approach. I have over 17 years of experience working with this population in both individual and family contexts.

I have experience working with gender-expansive teens, teens engaging in substance use or self-harm, and first-generation American teens. My goal is to create a space where young people feel safe to speak openly and without judgment.

When helpful, I incorporate family work or offer parent support in ways that are responsive to each family’s needs.

Harm Reduction Psychotherapy

I offer harm reduction psychotherapy to individuals navigating substance use, chronic illness, chronic pain, or other experiences that feel difficult to navigate.

I approach these conversations without judgment and do not assume a specific outcome, including abstinence. I combine attention to present-moment awareness with harm reduction principles to support the development of insight and self-awareness in relation to these experiences.

Sex Therapy

I work with individuals who feel stuck in their relationship to sexuality or within their sexual experiences with others.

Sex therapy supports greater awareness of the patterns contributing to distress while helping people move toward greater satisfaction, connection, and alignment.

Across all of my work, I remain attentive to the impact of systems of oppression and their role in shaping individual experience.
